EQUIPMENT COACH
Allow natural freedom of movementMake sure that the bridle and saddle you use actually fits for the best comfort of your horse to allow natural freedom of movement without pinching or pain. The saddle you got a few months back might not fit anymore as the horse might have gained or lost muscle mass. If your horse starts showing signs of discomfort while under the saddle it might be time to check if it still fits. An ill fitted or a badly positioned saddle will result in sore back muscles and with that a hollowed posture of the back that will in turn lose the hind leg action. With no propulsion from the hind legs it will not be able to carry itself properly causing other problems in the body. In addition, the saddle might be pinching the muscles that badly that the blood circulation is cut off by the pressure and hinder muscle growth or result in muscle atrophy. Please let me check your equipment to make sure it fits.
